BayArt Gallery invites artists to submit work for our upcoming open exhibition in Cardiff Bay. 

How to Apply:

Email your application to bayartassociates@gmail.com  with the following:

• Your Name

• Email subject should be  BayArt Open 2025

• Up to 200-word Artist Statement

• Up to 150-word Work Description (including titles, material, dimensions, and any additional information such as AV requirements or installation details)

• Up to 3 High-Quality Images of your work

• Social Media/Website (optional)

Please submit your application as a single PDF document, maximum 3 pages (A4 size).

Application Deadline: 11.59pm on Sunday 31st March 2025

Exhibition Details:

• Exhibition Dates: Friday 18th April (Opening Night 6 pm - late) until 31st May 2025

• Location: BayArt Gallery, 54B/C, Bute St, Cardiff CF10 5AF

Important Information:

• Drop-off/Collection: Artists must be able to deliver and collect their work from the gallery or arrange postal delivery/return. Final delivery deadline: 13th April 2025.

• Eligibility: Open to artists aged 18 and over, currently living and working in the UK.

• Exhibition Conditions: All work must be an original creation and available for the full exhibition duration.

Please Note:

• Voluntary Participation: This is a voluntary exhibition; we are unable to offer payment to participating artists.

• Insurance: We do not provide insurance coverage for works in transit or at BayArt Gallery. Artists are encouraged to arrange their own insurance.

• Sales Commission: Works for sale are subject to a 35% commission, though works do not have to be for sale.
